By entering our website you are deemed to have accepted our terms and conditions which are listed below. If any of these are not acceptable to you, please leave our website.

Copyright and Trademarks

All graphics, text, source code and web design are copyright to The Hele Bay Soap Company. You are not allowed to reproduce or replicate in whole or any part of our website, either electronically or by hard copy.

All Trademarks used on our site are used with permission and are the property of their respective owners. The Hele Bay Soap Company is our own property.

Conditions of Sale, Refunds and Delivery

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and there is no VAT to pay.

The prices on The Hele Bay Soap Company website are intended to be correct. We are not able to dispatch orders where a product has been incorrectly priced. We reserve the right to amend all errors and omissions. We will notify you as the customer and you will be offered a refund or the option to re-order at the correct price. We reserve the right to refuse an order at any point prior to dispatch. A refund via PayPal would be forthcoming should this occur.

If a product is out of stock we will contact you and either offer you an alternative, a refund or the option to wait for restocking should this be applicable.

We are unable to accept additions to orders please ensure you have included all your requirements in your order.

Delivery Charges

Collection is available for local people who would like to save themselves the postage charge.

A standard fee of £4.95 per consignment is my initial charge which will be sent first class mail.

Under the Consumer Protection (distance selling) regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order in full or part up to seven working days after delivery.

If you want to cancel your order prior to delivery you need to email us at info@helebaysoap.co.uk as soon as possible, so we can stop your order at the earliest point.

Once the order has been dispatched, the customer is responsible for the return carriage costs and the products.

When we have received the returned cancelled order, the products must be in the original, unopened, re-saleable condition. We will issue a refund via PayPal for the cost of the products. This process can take up to two working weeks from the receipt of the returned products.

If when you receive your order there is any wrongly supplied product you need to advise us within 48 hours of delivery. We will rectify this situation as quickly as possible.

If when you receive your parcel it is visibly damaged you must refuse delivery at that point and on that basis. We will contact you once we have received the returned parcel to offer you,  a full refund via PayPal or a replacement order.

If your products are damaged during transit, your statutory rights apply. You must email us at info@helebaysoap.co.uk within 48 hours. We will provide you with a goods return number. You must return the products to us within 14 days of your receipt of the order. We will then send you a refund of your postage costs and send you a replacement or refund whichever is applicable.

In the case of wilful or malicious damage we reserve the right to refuse to refund and to charge you for the replacement products.

Products

The vast majority of products on this site are handmade and hand cut in small batches, as a result of this, slight variations may occur in colour, size or fragrance between the different batches. We reserve the right to make any changes to the products.

Everyone who purchases a product from us is advised to do a patch test before using the product as we cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions. All our products are labelled as per EU requirements.

Extremes of temperatures for all products should be avoided as this can cause deterioration.

Reproductions of actual product colours are as accurate as photographic and electronic equipment capabilities will allow.

Personal Information

Please check your personal details when making your order as we cannot be held responsible for orders going astray as a result of incorrect customer information.

We take privacy of personal information very seriously and as such will not share your information with any third party other than delivery contractors and to comply with UK Law.

Personal information collected and retained by us is:

Name & postal address, contact phone numbers and email address, records pertaining to your purchases from our website, both historical and current.

Ways in which we use this information:

Processing your order, arranging delivery, providing you with a quality service, to enable the administration of our company, in the improvement and development of our business.

We do not use cookies to track and monitor your use of our website.

Kits
These are sold as a hobby kit for personal / gift use only. It is not legal to sell the products made from these kits.

The pre-certified soap base sold again is for personal / gift use  only. In a test case a number of years ago Trading Standards deemed this product unlawful to sell for the intention of re sale.
